The questions we get every week.
If yours isn't here, the buying desk answers the phone: (888) 555-0142.
Do I need a business to buy?
Yes. Fellow USA sells wholesale only. You'll need an EIN and a valid resale or sales tax certificate for your state. We don't sell to consumers, and we can't make an exception — it's a tax compliance issue, not a policy preference.
Is there a minimum purchase?
No account minimum and no purchase requirement. The smallest lots on the floor run a few thousand dollars, though most sit between $50,000 and $500,000. Plenty of accounts watch the floor for a month or two before buying anything, which is completely fine.
How much does an account cost?
Nothing. Floor-tier accounts are free and include full access to the live floor, manifests, grades and landed-cost estimates. Paid membership tiers buy earlier access and better financing terms — see membership — but they're optional and most accounts never need them.
Can I buy part of a lot?
Usually not. We buy whole and sell whole, which is what lets us price the way we do. Occasionally we'll break a very large lot into logical sublots — by category, by hub or by pallet group — and when we do, that's stated on the listing. If you want part of something, ask; the answer is sometimes yes, but don't plan around it.
How do I know the manifest is accurate?
Every unit is graded by hand against our published standard before listing, and lots over $50,000 carry a scheduled inspection window. If what arrives doesn't match what we published, you have seven days to report it and we credit or take it back at our freight cost. We audit our own grading monthly and publish the variance to our team.
Can I inspect before buying?
Yes, and we'd rather you did. Walk it yourself, send your own inspector, or name any ten line items and we'll pull, photograph and function-test them individually within one business day. Third-party inspectors are welcome and don't need to use our paperwork.
What payment methods do you accept?
ACH and wire for purchases. Certified funds accepted at the hub for pickup transactions. We don't accept credit cards on inventory purchases — the interchange cost on a six-figure lot is real money and it would end up in the price.
Do you ship internationally?
We load containers at our docks and handle export documentation, then coordinate with your freight forwarder for the ocean or cross-border leg. Some lots carry export-only or de-branding restrictions from the original brand owner — those are always stated on the listing before you make an offer.
What's your return policy?
Wholesale sales are final. What we do have is an arbitration window for discrepancies against the published manifest and grade: seven calendar days for general merchandise, 48 hours for vehicles on undisclosed structural or title defects. Confirmed discrepancies are credited or returned at our cost. It doesn't cover changing your mind or the market moving.
How fast can I get a lot?
Same-day load-out is common on palletized inventory if you have a carrier ready. Realistically most buyers are loaded within two to four business days of funding. Vehicles depend on titling and transport dispatch, usually five to ten days.
Do I have to use your financing?
No. Roughly half our volume is paid in cash. Financing is there because it lets buyers take positions they otherwise couldn't — it's not a requirement and it doesn't affect pricing or allocation.
How do I get early access to new lots?
Preferred membership gives you a 48-hour head start on everything new. Principal members see certain deals before they even land, and hold allocation rights in their categories. Both are covered on the membership page.
